If you’re in Savannah, Brochu’s Family Choice is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food is where this place truly shines. Their fried chicken is nothing short of perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned to absolute perfection. The oysters were fresh and bursting with flavor. The surprise hit was the wild rice, incredible! And the banana pudding? Creamy, sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal.

Wow. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while, and in such a laid back setting. Started with the jerk style oysters. Definitely unique and tasty, although very unorthodox and not for everyone. Read about the chicken liver toast before coming here and holy hell it did not disappoint. One of the best bites I’ve ever had in Savannah, so rich, so buttery, yes Lawd. Of course the star of the show was the Whole Chicken Dinner. I knew the fried chicken would be amazing (it was) but had no idea how good the biscuits, chicken salad, charred breast, pickles, and sauces would be. To say my wife and I were in heaven would be an understatement, we reached the peak of flavor town and planted our damn flag there. Gonna have to plan a trip back to Savannah solely to eat here again. Brochu’s has my heart.

Second time coming to Brochu’s—we had to come back for the infamous chicken dinner. It was a smart take on a “3 way” main; grilled breast with crispy skin, fried thighs, and a chicken salad side. I could drink the gravy side sauce in a 16oz. Soda fountain cup. The half chicken dinner was enough for two people eating, too. The top choice for me was the wedge salad. Their homemade dressing, blue cheese crumble, and bacon bits. Definitely a bright spot in the SAV food scene!

We were on vacation in Savannah and I saw lots of great reviews for Brochu's online so I made a reservation - I'm so glad I did! I think my husband and I were both pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. It has a mid-upscale bar feel, but the quality of the food was well beyond that. The sous-vide/charred chicken breast was SO tender and the fried chicken pieces were delicious as well. We enjoyed the chicken salad and my husband LOVED the liver toast. The service was great and drinks delicious as well!

A treasure in the Savannah food scene. Their food is top notch… perfect for the city and culture. The fried chicken is absolute perfection, as well as all their other dishes. Save room for the dessert!

The food was great especially the grilled chicken, biscuits, and banana pudding. This place was recommended to us from a waiter at another Savannah restaurant and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend eating here.

The hype...isn't enough! They surpassed the hype from the locals- the oysters are as good as New Orleans. My favorite were the grilled. The crab dip is the best I have ever eaten. The peel and eat shrimp-with seasoning-were so delicious, we went back the next evening after dinner at another restaurant, to enjoy the shrimp again :) Service is on point. Host stand is managed well.

The food at Brochu’s is absolutely delicious and full of unique flavors. Personally, I preferred the roasted chicken over the fried one, but both were really tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit!
